Terms & Conditions
Plain-language summary — draft pending attorney review; not legal advice. This page describes, in plain language, the terms under which KB2 Research makes research reference materials available for purchase. It is not a substitute for the final, attorney-reviewed terms of service, and nothing here should be read as legal advice to you or your organization.
These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern access to and use of the KB2 Research website and the purchase of any product listed on it. By creating an account, placing an order, or otherwise using this site, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the site or place an order.
Eligibility
You must be at least 21 years of age to create an account or place an order. By using this site you represent that you are 21 or older and that you are ordering in a professional, institutional, or research capacity — for example, as a laboratory, research institution, university, contract research organization, or an individual researcher acting within such a capacity. This site is not intended for, and orders should not be placed by, members of the general public seeking products for personal, non-research use.
Research-use-only acknowledgement
Every product offered on this site is a laboratory research reference material, sold and labeled for laboratory research use only. Products are not for human or veterinary use, are not drugs, dietary supplements, cosmetics, or medical devices, and are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, mitigate, or prevent any disease or condition in humans or animals.
By placing an order you represent and warrant that:
- you are purchasing solely for laboratory research purposes;
- you will not administer, or cause to be administered, any product to a human or animal;
- you will not resell, repackage, or represent any product as suitable for human or
veterinary use, consumption, or clinical application; and
- you understand and accept that misuse of a research reference material outside a
laboratory research setting is outside the scope of, and not condoned by, any use described on this site.
Accounts and ordering
An account is required to place an order. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account. You agree to provide accurate, current information when creating an account and completing checkout, including your organization or research affiliation. We may decline, cancel, or limit any order at our discretion, including where we are unable to verify that an order is consistent with laboratory research use.
Order confirmation does not guarantee product availability. If a product you ordered is unavailable, we will notify you and issue a refund or offer an alternative, at your choice.
Acceptable use
You agree not to use this site to:
- misrepresent your identity, age, or research affiliation;
- place orders on behalf of, or for redistribution to, a member of the general public;
- attempt to circumvent any eligibility, verification, or ordering safeguard on the site;
- use the site in a manner that violates applicable law; or
- interfere with the operation or security of the site.
We may suspend or terminate account access for conduct that violates these Terms or that we reasonably believe is inconsistent with laboratory research use.
Product information and accuracy
We aim for product listings — including compound identity, presentation (such as lyophilized powder and vial size), and testing status — to be accurate and current. Products are third-party tested, with a certificate of analysis (COA) available per lot, and purity is ≥99% where verified by testing. We do not guarantee that product descriptions, images, or other content are error-free, complete, or continuously up to date, and we reserve the right to correct errors, including in pricing or listed specifications, at any time.
Pricing and availability
All prices are listed in U.S. dollars and are subject to change without notice. We reserve the right to limit quantities, discontinue a product, or modify availability at any time. In the event of a pricing error, we may cancel the affected order and issue a full refund rather than fulfill the order at the incorrect price. Shipping estimates (currently, 1–2 business days from our U.S.-based fulfillment operation) are estimates, not guarantees, and are subject to change due to factors outside our control.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, KB2 Research and its officers, employees, and suppliers will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or relating to your use of the site or any product purchased through it, including damages arising from misuse of a product outside its stated research purpose. Our total liability for any claim arising from an order will not exceed the amount you paid for the product giving rise to the claim. Nothing in these Terms is intended to limit liability in circumstances where such limitation is not permitted by applicable law.
Products are provided "as is" for laboratory research use, without any express or implied warranty that they are fit for any particular purpose beyond that stated on the applicable product listing and certificate of analysis.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of [State/Jurisdiction — to be finalized by counsel], without regard to conflict-of-law principles. [Venue and dispute-resolution language to be finalized by counsel.]
Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, products, or applicable law. The version posted on this site is the version in effect, and material changes will be reflected by an updated date at the top of this page. Continued use of the site after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

Privacy Policy
Plain-language summary — draft pending attorney review; not legal advice.
This Privacy Policy explains what information KB2 Research collects when you use kb2researchpeptides.com, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have. We collect only what is needed to operate the store, fulfill orders, and meet our obligations as a supplier of research-use-only materials — we do not sell personal information.
Who we are
KB2 Research operates kb2researchpeptides.com, a supplier of research reference peptides sold strictly for laboratory research use — not for human or veterinary use. This policy covers the website and the ordering process. Questions about this policy or your data can be sent to info@kb2researchpeptides.com.
Information we collect
Account information. When you register, we collect your name, email address, and password (stored in hashed form, never in plain text). We also collect the company/institution and research-use field information required at account setup, which we use to verify that purchases are intended for legitimate research use.
Order and shipping information. To fulfill orders, we collect billing and shipping addresses, phone number (if provided for delivery purposes), and order contents and history. Payment card details are processed directly by our payment processor — KB2 Research does not store full card numbers.
Cookies and similar technologies. We use cookies and comparable local storage to keep you signed in, remember your cart, and understand basic site usage (e.g., which pages are visited, general traffic patterns). See "Cookies & consent" below for details and your choices.
Communications. If you contact us by email, we retain that correspondence to respond to your request and maintain a record of support and compliance inquiries.
Technical data. Like most websites, our server and hosting infrastructure automatically log standard technical data such as IP address, browser type, device type, and timestamps, for security and troubleshooting purposes.
We do not knowingly collect information from children, and this site is not directed at individuals under 18.
How we use your information
We use collected information to:
- Create and maintain your account, including verifying the company and research-use
information required to open an account.
- Process, ship, and provide support for orders, including sending order confirmations,
shipping notices, and responses to inquiries.
- Verify eligibility to purchase research-use-only materials.
- Maintain security, detect fraud, and prevent misuse of the site.
- Meet recordkeeping obligations to our payment processor and, where applicable, legal or
regulatory requirements.
- Operate and improve the site (for example, understanding which pages are useful or where
errors occur).
We do not use your information to send unsolicited marketing communications, and we do not sell or rent personal information to third parties.
Cookies & consent
Cookies are small files stored by your browser. We use:
- Strictly necessary cookies — required for core functions like staying signed in,
maintaining your cart, and processing checkout. These cannot be disabled without breaking site functionality.
- Functional/analytics cookies — help us understand aggregate site usage so we can improve
the store. Where required by applicable law, we request consent before setting non-essential cookies, and you can adjust or withdraw consent through your browser settings or any in-site cookie preference control, where available.
Most browsers let you block or delete cookies through their settings. Blocking strictly necessary cookies may prevent checkout or account sign-in from working correctly.
How we share information
We share information only as needed to run the business:
- Service providers ("processors") who perform functions on our behalf, such as payment
processing, order fulfillment, email delivery, hosting, and website analytics. These providers are authorized to use your information only to perform services for us and are bound by contractual confidentiality and data-protection obligations.
- Carriers (shipping companies) receive the shipping information necessary to deliver your
order.
- Legal and safety disclosures. We may disclose information if required by law, subpoena,
or valid legal process, or where necessary to protect the rights, property, or safety of KB2 Research, our customers, or others.
- Business transfers. If KB2 Research is involved in a merger, acquisition, or asset sale,
customer information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to the same protections described here.
We do not share your information with third parties for their own independent marketing purposes.
Data retention
We retain account and order information for as long as your account is active and for a reasonable period afterward to comply with tax, accounting, payment-processor, and other recordkeeping obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. When information is no longer needed for these purposes, we take reasonable steps to delete or anonymize it.
Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction — including encryption of data in transit, hashed password storage, and restricted internal access. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Your rights and choices
Depending on your location, you may have the right to:
- Access the personal information we hold about you.
- Correct inaccurate or incomplete information.
- Delete your account and associated personal information, subject to records we are
required to retain for legal, tax, or payment-processor purposes.
- Object to or restrict certain uses of your information.
- Withdraw consent for non-essential cookies at any time.
To exercise any of these rights, contact info@kb2researchpeptides.com. We will verify your request and respond within a reasonable timeframe.
International visitors
If you access the site from outside the United States, understand that your information will be transferred to and processed in the United States, where our systems and service providers are located, which may have different data-protection laws than your home jurisdiction.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or for legal, operational, or regulatory reasons. Shipping Policy
KB2 Research ships all orders from US-based fulfillment within 1–2 business days, via tracked carrier service to addresses in the lower 48 states. This page is a plain-language summary of how orders move from our fulfillment center to your lab or research facility — it is draft pending attorney review and is not a legal contract.
Who this policy is for
Every product listed on this site is a research reference material intended for laboratory research use only — not for human or veterinary use. By placing an order, you confirm that you are purchasing on that basis and that the shipment will be received and handled by a qualified researcher or research organization. Nothing in this policy, or in any product listing, should be read as guidance for administering, dosing, or otherwise using a product in a human or animal.
Processing time
Orders are processed and handed to a carrier within 1–2 business days of payment confirmation. Business days are Monday through Friday, excluding federal holidays. Orders placed on a weekend or holiday begin processing on the next business day. Processing time covers order verification, picking, and packaging; it is separate from carrier transit time, which varies by destination and service level.
Where a product requires cold-chain handling to protect material integrity in transit, it is packed accordingly — with insulation and cold packs sized to the expected transit window — before it leaves our facility. Carrier transit time is outside our control, so we ask researchers to plan for prompt receipt of any cold-chain shipment (see Address accuracy below).
Carriers and tracking
We ship via major US ground and expedited carriers and select the service level appropriate to the order. Every shipment includes tracking, and a tracking number is provided once the order is handed to the carrier. We do not publish a fixed carrier commitment for every order — carrier and service level can vary by destination, package characteristics, and carrier availability — but tracking is provided without exception so you can monitor transit progress independently.
Domestic shipping only
At this time, KB2 Research ships to addresses within the lower 48 United States only. We do not currently offer shipping to Alaska, Hawaii, US territories, PO boxes, military (APO/FPO) addresses, or any destination outside the United States. If your shipping address falls outside this scope, please do not place an order — orders that cannot be fulfilled to a supported address will be identified and addressed on a case-by-case basis, which may delay or prevent delivery.
Discreet packaging
Shipments are packaged discreetly. Outer packaging does not reference product names, compound identities, or the research use of the contents. This is a packaging and privacy practice, not a concealment of a shipment's legal status — invoices and order records accurately reflect what was purchased.
Address accuracy
You are responsible for entering a complete and accurate shipping address at checkout, including suite/unit numbers and any access instructions a carrier may need. We ship to the address provided at the time of order and cannot guarantee interception or redirection once a package has been handed to the carrier. If you notice an error immediately after placing an order, contact us at info@kb2researchpeptides.com and we will attempt to correct it before fulfillment — we cannot guarantee a correction is possible once an order has shipped.
Because some products are packed with cold-chain materials sized to a limited transit window, an inaccurate address or a delay in receiving a shipment can affect material integrity on arrival. We recommend ensuring a researcher is available to receive time-sensitive shipments promptly.
Lost, delayed, or damaged shipments
Tracking is the primary tool for monitoring a shipment's progress. If tracking shows no movement for an extended period, shows delivery to the wrong location, or a package arrives visibly damaged, contact us at info@kb2researchpeptides.com with your order number and a description of the issue. We will work with the carrier and with you to investigate. Carrier transit delays, weather events, and other events outside our control can affect delivery timing; we will do what we reasonably can to help resolve a delayed, lost, or damaged shipment, but carrier performance itself is outside our direct control.
Order and shipment confirmation
You will receive confirmation when your order is placed and again when it ships, including the tracking number for that shipment. Please retain these confirmations for your records, particularly if a certificate of analysis or other documentation for the lot needs to be referenced later.
Research-use-only scope of every shipment
Every item shipped by KB2 Research is a research reference material, supplied strictly for laboratory research use only. Products are not shipped with, and this policy does not constitute, any instructions for human or veterinary administration. Handling and storage guidance provided with a shipment addresses the integrity of the material as a laboratory reference substance only.
Questions
For questions about an order's status, a shipping address correction, a delayed or damaged shipment, or documentation for a specific lot, contact info@kb2researchpeptides.com.
Refunds & Returns Policy
Plain-language summary — draft pending attorney review. This page is not legal advice and does not modify the Terms of Sale; where the two conflict, the Terms of Sale control.
All products sold by KB2 Research are laboratory research reference materials, supplied strictly for laboratory research use only — not for human or veterinary use. Because of the sensitive, non-consumer nature of these materials, our returns process is narrower than a typical retail policy: unopened, unused items reported promptly may qualify for a refund or replacement, while opened or used items generally cannot be returned.
Why our return policy is narrow
Research peptides are supplied as lyophilized powders or related research materials intended for controlled laboratory handling. Once a vial has been opened, reconstituted, or otherwise used, its condition, storage history, and integrity can no longer be verified by us. For that reason, and to maintain the reliability of the materials we distribute, opened or used items are not eligible for return or refund, except where the item was damaged, incorrect, or defective on arrival as described below.
This policy applies to every item in our catalog, including bacteriostatic water, lyophilized peptide vials, and any accessory items offered alongside them.
Damaged, incorrect, or defective-on-arrival items
We want every order to arrive intact and correct. If your shipment arrives with any of the following issues, you are eligible to request a resolution:
- Damaged in transit — the vial, packaging, or insulation was compromised during shipping.
- Incorrect item shipped — you received a product, quantity, or vial size that does not match your order confirmation.
- Defective on arrival — the item appears compromised (e.g., seal failure, container defect) prior to any use, independent of shipping damage.
To qualify for review, the issue must be reported before the item is used, and photo documentation is generally required to evaluate the claim.
How to report an issue
If you believe your order arrived damaged, incorrect, or defective, contact us as soon as possible and no later than a few days from the delivery date shown in your shipment tracking. To report an issue:
- Email info@kb2researchpeptides.com.
- Include your order number (found in your order confirmation email).
- Describe the issue and, where applicable, attach clear photos of the item, its packaging, and the shipping label.
Reports submitted after the stated window, or without sufficient documentation to evaluate the claim, may not be eligible for a refund or replacement. We review each report individually and will follow up by email with next steps or additional questions.
Refund and replacement process
Once we receive your report, our team reviews the details and supporting documentation to determine the appropriate resolution. Depending on the nature of the issue, a resolution may take the form of a replacement shipment, a refund to the original payment method, or store credit. Resolutions are issued at our discretion based on the circumstances of each case, and we do not guarantee a specific outcome or timeframe in advance. We aim to acknowledge reports promptly and to resolve confirmed issues in a reasonable timeframe once review is complete.
We may ask that a damaged or defective item be returned to us, or that additional photos be provided, before a resolution is issued. Please retain the original packaging and item until your report has been resolved.
Non-returnable items
The following are not eligible for return, refund, or exchange, except where required by the damaged/incorrect/defective-on-arrival process above:
- Any vial or container that has been opened, reconstituted, or used.
- Items reported outside the stated reporting window.
- Orders affected by buyer error, such as an incorrect shipping address entered at checkout.
- Items that have left our custody and been reshipped, transferred, or resold by the buyer.
Order cancellations
If you need to cancel an order, contact info@kb2researchpeptides.com with your order number as soon as possible. Because we ship in 1–2 business days, we cannot guarantee that a cancellation request will reach us before an order has shipped. Once an order has shipped, it is subject to the policy above rather than a cancellation.
Questions about this policy
This page is a plain-language summary intended to help researchers understand our general process; it does not expand or limit the rights and obligations set out in our Terms of Sale. If you have questions about a specific order or about this policy, email info@kb2researchpeptides.com with your order number and we will be glad to help.
All products referenced on this page and throughout this site are for laboratory research use only and are not intended for human or veterinary use.
